ORIGIN: White Cottage Farm (WCF) located in Dairyville, California was established in 1921. Today, 27 giant pecan trees are the dominant feature of the estate. Another dominant feature is Rodina Borzoi, a licensed borzoi breeding kennel. A 20,000 sq ft borzoi run is surrounded by 6 foot fences. Two additional 10,000 sq ft comformation and training runs are planned. Also at WCF is the 1,600 cubic foot atrium, which houses 42 birds. Chickens, ducks, pigeons, quail, doves and now geese are featured. In all 56 canines, felines and birds are cared for at WCF. The atrium is against the 1,800 sq ft shop and covered storage. The shop is used seasonally to harvest, dry and sack up to 2 tons of pecans annually. The shop is also used as a borzoi grooming center with crates and a shower. The shop has multible uses including a covered 100 sq ft isolation kennel. The 1,100 sq ft home was well designed with 6 inch walls and was also built before the "Model A," in 1921. Nestled in the enchanted Rodina Forest, WCF boasts old time charm for the aristocrat of dogs.
