Redstone Monthly Meeting: Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
Redstone was set off from Westland 4th month 26th day 1793,
and probably included part of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania
and of Monongalia County, Virginia.
The first settlement of Friends was at Uniontown about 1769.
In 1776 eighteen families were residing about Redstone, Uniontown
and Brownsville.
This meeting is important to us as it was the repository for many
years for certificates of families moving from
Pennsylvania to Ohio.
